TECNO Phantom V Fold 2 5G Set for Launch: Key Specs Leaked

TECNO is likely to unveil its next foldable smartphone with new leaks and rumours seemingly suggesting that preparation. According to reports, the brand is expected to launch the TECNO Phantom V Fold 2 5G as well as a flip phone, called the TECNO Phantom V Flip 2 5G.

New reports claim that a Google Play Console listing has been spotted for the device with a model number “AE10” with the moniker labelled “TECNO Phantom V Fold2 5G”.

From the listing, it looks like the device will feature a MediaTek SoC although it’s difficult to decipher which model it is for now. From previous reports, the device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, which is in the current device.

The figures on the Google Play Console listing also show very similar performance numbers to the predecessor: one core clocked at 3.2GHz, three cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and four cores at 1.8GHz.

According to the listing, the GPU is Mali G710 which clocks at 955MHz. The foldable phone is also expected to come with Android 14 with at least 12GB of RAM. The display size could also be very similar to its predecessor’s as the listing shows 2000×2296 resolution with a pixel density of 480 DPI.

Nothing has been confirmed yet by TECNO but with the listing now spotted, we could have more info about the Phantom V Fold 2 5G revealed officially very soon.
