Olubunmi Jinadu Entrusted With Planning Ruto’s US Engagements

Kenya has appointed Olubunmi Jinadu, a businessman of Nigerian descent, to lead President William Ruto’s engagement in Atlanta, United States. President Ruto is scheduled to travel to Washington D.C for a state visit in late May, where he will be hosted by US President Joe Biden. During this trip, Ruto plans to headline a business forum in Atlanta.

Jinadu has been tasked with working alongside the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to organize a business-to-business forum and executive roundtable to be attended by Ruto. Jinadu’s selection is based on his extensive networks as the founder of Interglobe IEG, a company based in Atlanta that specializes in optimizing product and organization branding strategies both online and offline.

In the past, Jinadu has been involved in Africa-focused initiatives, particularly in soccer and entertainment. He emphasized the importance of diaspora involvement in advancing trade initiatives, especially under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.

Jinadu, who describes himself as a qualified organizer of diaspora affairs, has lived and worked in various countries. Born in Nigeria, he received his early education in the United Kingdom before moving to France, where he attended Paul University in Montpellier. In 1996, he relocated to the United States, where he has since established himself within the Atlanta business community.
