Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has fueled speculation about a potential return to the Premier League. While hesitant to directly address the rumors, Tuchel did express his fondness for England’s top division.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Tuchel stated, “I’d rather not answer… but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea, I loved it in England and I loved it in the Premier League for sure.” He went on to describe his time in England, particularly at Chelsea, as “a very, very special time.”
This coy response comes amidst his confirmed departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the season. Manchester United, currently struggling under Erik ten Hag, is a possible destination often mentioned in connection with Tuchel.
Chelsea fans may also be intrigued by Tuchel’s comments. While a return to Stamford Bridge seems less likely, it can’t be entirely ruled out.
Only time will tell where Tuchel will land next, but his clear affection for the Premier League suggests a return could be on the cards.
