Kenya and East Africa Hit by Major Internet Outage Due to Undersea Cable Faults

Kenya, along with Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, has been hit by a major internet outage due to faults in undersea cables connecting the region to the rest of the world. Service providers are working to fix the issue, which has caused poor connectivity and disruptions in internet services. The outage has also affected other countries in East Africa, as well as Malawi, Mozambique, and Madagascar. Industry experts suggest that the damage to the cables is likely due to accidents rather than sabotage. Similar outages were experienced in parts of West and Southern Africa in March, leading to widespread frustration among internet users across the continent.
