Infinix Zero 40 Series Launches with 108MP Camera and Go Pro Connectivity

Infinix has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone series, the Infinix Zero 40, succeeding the Zero 30 series launched last year. The new series features two models: the Infinix Zero 40 4G and the Infinix Zero 40 5G, both offering advanced features with slight variations in specifications.

Infinix Zero 40 4G and 5G:

Both models are equipped with a 108MP main camera and a 50MP front-facing camera, promising high-quality photography and selfies. They feature a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, offering a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness of 1300 nits for a vibrant viewing experience.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, while the 4G variant comes with the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. Both models include 12GB of RAM, which can be extended up to 24GB, and 512GB of internal storage. The devices run on Android 14 straight out of the box.

In terms of battery life, both models are equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 45W wired charging. The 5G variant also includes an additional 20W wireless charging option, enhancing its charging flexibility.

The Infinix Zero 40 series has been launched internationally, with the 5G model priced at $399 (approximately KES 51,500) and the 4G model at $289 (approximately KES 37,000). However, there is no confirmation yet on when the series will be available in the Kenyan market.
