Wi-Fi 7 is set to offer dramatically higher speeds compared to Wi-Fi 6E, with theoretical speeds exceeding 40Gbps—four times faster than its predecessor. In addition to faster speeds, Wi-Fi 7 promises lower latency and increased reliability, which could greatly benefit activities like online gaming and large file downloads.
This rumor, reported by DigiTimes and corroborated by analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities, suggests that Wi-Fi 7 support might indeed be included in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
