Foxconn reiterates Q2 revenue to grow, posts record April sales

Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer and a key assembler of Apple’s iPhone, anticipates an increase in second-quarter revenue. The company reported record sales for the month of April, reaching T$510.9 billion ($15.83 billion), marking a 19% year-on-year rise.

In a statement, Foxconn noted that the second quarter is typically an off-peak season, with products transitioning between old and new models. Despite this, the company expects growth both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year.

While Foxconn did not provide specific figures, the company remains optimistic about its performance in the coming months. It highlighted that the second quarter’s operations outlook is positive, indicating a positive trajectory for its business.

Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, plays a critical role in the electronics supply chain, manufacturing products for various technology companies. The company’s performance is closely watched as an indicator of the broader electronics industry’s health.
