KDF Soldier Injured as Bandits Raid Baringo Village, Steal 140 Goats

A Kenyan Defense Forces (KDF) soldier was injured during a brazen attack by over 100 bandits in a village in Baringo. The assailants, armed with guns and machetes, raided the village and made off with 140 goats. The injured soldier was part of a security team responding to the attack.

The bandits, believed to be from a neighboring community, launched the attack in the early hours of the morning, catching the villagers off guard. They looted the village, taking the goats and other valuables before fleeing into the nearby hills.

The injured soldier was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident has raised concerns about the security situation in the area, with locals calling for more police presence to deter such attacks in the future.
