Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has criticized Kiharu constituency Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, for allegedly hijacking an event organized by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in Murang’a. Kuria condemned the incident, accusing Nyoro of engaging in showbiz while Kenyans are mourning and facing challenges from devastating floods.
Kuria stated, “In Murang’a, they were competing on who would arrive fast and later using a chopper, and this is a high level of stupidity. I will not die twice, I’m fed up with stupidity.”
The incident occurred as Nyoro reportedly arrived at the event before Deputy President Gachagua, leading to a perceived disregard for protocol. Nyoro and Gachagua are both vying for the Mt Kenya Kingpin position, with Nyoro even receiving backing to deputize President William Ruto in 2027, a move that Ruto condemned, urging Mt Kenya leaders to respect the current administration.
